MATERIAL TYPES

At Advanced Labels, we are always evaluating and testing new paper and film materials. If there is a material that you do not see in our list, please give us a call.

All paper and film label materials are pressure sensitive unless noted otherwise.

*Materials identified with an asterisk are compatible with our thermal transfer variable data printer. We can print consecutive numbering labels, consecutive barcode labels and other variable data labels from your data file or to your specifications in addition to content printed on our flexographic printing presses.

PAPER

• Bond - material that is non-pressure sensitive in other words has no adhesive side
• Direct Thermal Paper - Material that thermally prints labels via a heat activation process

SPECIALITY STOCKS

• Glow in the Dark Polyester* - Phosphorescent film material for glow in the dark labels
• Coupon Film - A release material for point of purchase labels and peel of coupon labels
• Piggyback* - A peel off label that is laminated to another label
• Tamper Evident Film* - For security labels, material breaks apart when tampered with
• Destructible Film - For security labels, material breaks apart when label removal is attempted
• Void Polyester - For security labels, when label is removed a "VOID" pattern is revealed

DECORATIVE FOIL STAMPING

• Bright & Dull Gold and Silver Foil - Foils used in hot foil stamping, a variety of other shades are also available.

ADHESIVE TYPES

• Permanent - Aggressive adhesive, may damage labels or surfaces labels are applied to if removed
• Removable - Labels can be removed from most surfaces but may leave adhesive residue
• Ultra Removable - Labels leave no residue when removed
• Repositionable - Can be removed and reapplied multiple times
• All Temperature
• Cold Temperature
• Food Grade - FDA approved adhesive
• None - Not all materials are available without adhesive, please contact us for more information.
