Legoe Bay Winery is a boutique winery with humble beginnings. Like many wineries, and many other businesses, it all began in a garage. In 2005 the winery moved to it's current location, an historic marina, located on the west shore of Lummi Island facing Legoe Bay and the San Juan Islands. To visit the winery, you simply drive, bike or walk onto the Whatcom Chief ferry at Gooseberry Point, and leave your cares behind as you make the six-minute trip across Hale Passage.

It gives life, it soothes, it cleanses. What is it? Water. Or, in this case Watt-Ahh – an ultra pure water, hydro-fortified for energy. The water is polarized and contains a reservoir of electrons to promote health and energy. While these claims appear rather pedestrian on the surface, the testimonials of Watt-Ahh consumers are nothing short of astounding – each attributing their experiences to the effects of Watt-Ahh. There are accounts of failing internal organ function being restored, nursing animals back to health, and even one unfortunate soul who had seriously injured his hand with a chainsaw who applied Watt-Ahh directly to the wound to aid with healing.
Environmental respect is anything but an afterthought at Briali Vineyard. This philosophy is at the very heart of Brian and Alicia ("Bri and "Ali") Moeller’s decision to start a biodynamic winery after nurturing 15 varieties of grapevines over 9 years. This type of eco-friendly, organic winemaking is hard work. To Brian and Alicia, who are completely hands-on with their vineyard, it’s worth it. They love the labor intensive challenge of producing a pure, high quality wine. And in just their second year open to the public, Briali has already sold out the first year’s vintage.
"Not all certified organic elements are earth friendly. Something for everyone to keep in mind." – Brian Moeller
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian approach to health and wellness, and quite possibly the oldest healing science ever. Ayurveda has been practiced in India for over 5,000 years as an alternative system of medicine. The word itself is a combination of Ayur, “Life”, and Veda, “Science” or “Knowledge”. At its most basic, Ayurveda encourages a balance of mind, body and consciousness through diet, drink, lifestyle and herbal remedies. The primary goal of Ayurvedic medicine is disease prevention.
Necessity is the mother of invention, and alleviating suffering may be the mother of all necessities. For Robin Hager, Pharm.D., this was especially true when her Aunt Lou was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Helena, Oklahoma (pronounced locally as ”Heh-LEE’-nuh”) is a small town situated in the southeastern corner of Alfalfa County, boasting a population well below 2,000 residents. The first settlers arrived there in 1893, and the town received a postal designation a year later. 10 years after that, the railroad reached the fledgling town, with the line still operating today as the Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railway. With less than one-half square mile of land, If you’re driving down State Highway 58 and blink, you might just miss it.
